HIGHPOINT BUCKLE SERIES

Buckles will be awarded to the cumulative highpoint participant in each age division at the end of the season. WALK TROT IS INCLUDED.  Lead line, bareback, costume and game classes do NOT count towards highpoint.

Registration starts at 8am --- Show starts at 9am

LOCATION: 2709 North S Road, Marquette, NE 68854 (Show will be held in our two outdoor arenas, call before you haul)

COST: $5 Office Charge, $5 per class OR $35 for all day, Exhibition entries accepted.

PRIZES FOR 1-4th PLACES

Concessions and Restrooms On-Site

Any HORSE and/or RIDER that is entered into a WALK TROT class may NOT enter and place in class that asks for a lope or canter. Exhibition entries will be allowed. Please call or ask at check-in.

4-H Rules –Open Show Attire–No Ball Caps or Tank Tops– No Alcohol or Smoking

Horse Day Camp

Do you want to see what it is like to be a cowboy or cowgirl? Timberlake offers single day horse camps (July 2-4th) for those of all skill levels!  You will enjoy a full horse experience complete with games and riding time.  Store and water front time are not included.

Horsemanship Day Camps are designed to allow a variety of participants. Children, teens, and adults are ALL welcome to attend. All participants will be grouped by experience level to the best of our ability. There is a minimum age requirement of 6 years.

Check in will begin at the horse barn at 9:30AM and end at 10:00AM. Lunch IS provided.

 Our women's horse retreats provide the perfect opportunity for mothers, daughters, sisters, grandmothers and aunts to relax and enjoy quality time with each other. Escape from the stress of your week by spending time with horses and enjoying fun activities while learning more about Jesus!

NEW IN 2018!

With our restructured retreat schedule, we are now able to offer a “Day Only” package that will help accommodate the busy individual.  Choose from one of the following packages when signing up. Space is limited so please register early. Registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable. All registrations must be complete and paid for before spots are reserved.  Please supervise children at all times. Minors 19 and under must attend with a parent or guardian. All participants must be 6 years or older.

Overnight Package (6:30PM Friday – 5:00PM Saturday)

Check in at 6:30PM on Friday. This package provides a complete horse experience where you will have a horse lesson on Friday evening AND groom, saddle and feed the horses on Saturday morning before the other participants arrive.  Saturday you will also enjoy all of the following activities and more:

 

- Trail Ride

- Making goat milk soap

- Baking horse treats

- Horse beauty contest

- Campfire praise and worship

- Hayrack ride

Lodging, snacks on Friday, and breakfast and lunch on Saturday are provided with each registration. Please email [email protected] with any special dietary needs and/or allergies.

Packing list for overnight participants: Bedding, toiletries, western boots if you have them, jeans, water bottle, bug spray, sun screen and a Bible if you have one. We provide boots and riding helmets for those who do not have their own.

Go Big GIVE inspires communities to come together for 24 hours to give as much as possible to support the work of nonprofits in Hall, Hamilton, Howard and Merrick Counties. Bring your own horse(s) and enjoy a morning of trail riding through woods, streams, a teeter totter, and much more around Timberlake’s scenic 400 acres. Gain exclusive access to trails that are normally hidden from public use. Following lunch feel free to use one of our two outdoor riding arenas for open ride time.  Check-In starts at 9:00 AM, Ride leaves at 10:00 AM.Make checks payable to Timberlake Ranch Camps or pay with a credit card following your online registration.  Our horse facility is smoking and alcohol free. Bring your “Paul” (father, grandpa, teacher, mentor, uncle) or your “Timothy” (son, grandson, nephew, mentee) out to Timberlake for the manliest weekend of the spring! Don’t have one? Don’t let that stop you! Come out to camp and we will partner you up with someone else looking to grow in their walk with the greatest Man that ever lived. Bring your favorite "Cooked over a Campfire" food to share or have a hotdog on us! Come listen to dynamic speakers share about what it means to be a man in today’s confused culture. Enjoy fellowship with other men and quality time with your “Timothy” or “Paul.” Paintball and other activities will be available Saturday morning.
