2010 Family Camps - Family Camp is a perfect get-away. Great speakers inspire, activities are fun, campfires are always a favorite and the atmosphere is relaxed. Make your plans to attend one of the families camps this year.
More than 100 people attended the Generations Banquets this year. This is an increase from last year. The dinners were fun! We appreciate everyone attending! Watch for next years dates.
Oasis is a satellite camp of Timberlake Ranch Camps. We are located just 2 miles south of Firth, NE.
OUR PURPOSE
Timberlake Ranch Camps exist to assist local churches by providing a quiet, noisy, slow, fast, summer, winter, relaxing, challenging, and always fun atmosphere in which lives can be changed for the sake of Christ. Timberlake's relaxing, inspirational environment provides a safe haven for many children and youth. Getting away from everyday distractions and hectic routines makes it easier to concentrate on the priorities of life and focus on the worth of every individual.
The Importance of a Christian Camp Experience
No matter how you do camp, it always comes down to the personal relationships that are formed while at camp. True friendship takes time, commitment, vulnerability, patience and acceptance. Camp is a perfect place for relationships to form and grow. Lives are changed when people sense an attitude of love and acceptance. You simply can not beat camp in this department!
At Timberlake Ranch Camps we believe that developing a relationship is ultimately far more rewarding then anything else we do.
We believe that a dynamic and growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ is imperative for everyone. Matthew 22:37-38 “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment.”
As a camp ministry we reject the consumer driven mentality of ministry and embrace the notion of family, ministry and relationships. Timberlake Ranch Camps will be extremely careful to focus on the personal relationships that make camp what it is. Camp is a quiet, peaceful, away from the rush, relaxing environment. A Christian Camp provides opportunities for spiritual challenge and growth. A Christian Camp is a great place to grow a personal relationship with God.
Timberlake is blessed with nice facilities and great activities which will change and develop as needs arise.
Timberlake is excited about ministry and is convinced that God is leading. We believe that the camp has great potential!
