Camp Activities
At Timberlake Ranch Camps we offer a wide variety of group activities; we invite you to get outside and experience camp.
Petting zoo:
Come hang out with our herd of friendly little goats and other fun furry creatures for a day! (seasonal)
Hiking trails:
Timberlake is full of hidden trails that wind through 600 acres of wooded escape and restored prairie that is bracketed by a chain of ponds on one side and the majestic Platte River on the other. Come out for the day or explore for an entire weekend!
Boating:
It’s never a bad day to be out on the lake! Take our kayaks and canoes out on the water and enjoy a leisurely boat ride along a chain of ponds that stretch almost a mile. The best view of the sunset is from a kayak!
Beach Timberlake:
It’s a beach day! The Timberlake beach offers a large dock surrounding the swimming area, sand volleyball, plenty of beach chairs, boating, and The BLOB (available for rental)!
Obstacle course:
Challenge yourself and your group to do something new by going through the obstacle course where you can focus on building teamwork and leadership.
High ropes course:
Step outside of your comfort zone 25 ft in the air! With three heart-pumping elements, our high ropes course offers a unique challenge that will push each individual and build team camaraderie. Our trained Timberlake staff will ensure that your group has a safe and incredible experience..(available for hourly rental)
The Blob:
Imagine walking out on the dock, climbing the steps to the top of the tower, and then leaping into the air, landing safely on a giant 40 ft. inflatable in the water known only as the BLOB. But the fun is not over yet. You crawl to the end of the BLOB and your friend jumps on behind you sending you soaring into the air before you splash into the water below! A Timberlake classic, the BLOB is sure to make your next beach day memorable. (available for hourly rental)
Zorb ball:
Zorb Ball at Timberlake is a high-paced, laughter-inducing game that will send you and your friends bouncing around the gym. It’s like playing soccer in an inflatable hamster ball! Each player steps inside a giant inflatable ball and then plays a crazy game of soccer. (available for hourly rental)
Hayrack ride:
Enjoy the beauty of Timberlake on a fun and relaxing hayrack ride. Available year-round.
Trail rides:
One of the premier activities at Timberlake Ranch Camps for more than 40 years has been our horsemanship program! At Timberlake, we offer horsemanship experiences for all ages and skill levels. Enjoy a scenic trail ride as you explore the trails and prairies around camp on horseback. (call for a price quote!)
